The proliferation of bottled water by various brands, including Tim Hortons and Loblaws, raises concerns about pricing and environmental impact. While Loblaws sells bottled water at a remarkably low price of 8 cents, it prompts us to question the profit margins of Tim Hortons, who sells it for $1.80. Additionally, the source of the water is a point of contention, as some major brands obtain water from the tap. As consumers, we should be mindful of the environmental consequences and seek sustainable alternatives to reduce the reliance on plastic water bottles.
